I feel a responsibility to listen to stories from the ‘other side’ of this issue, to try to understand where they’re coming from and what they’re going through. In that vein, I found the New York Times Daily podcast episode—“Parenting a trans kid in Trump’s America”—that aired last Friday very sobering.
